Trying to study for one exam while waiting for the score drop of another is excruciating. I feel as though I can never truly invest in studying knowing I may have to re-study all of the material I just dumped out of my head the second I left the Prometric center.
Despite this lingering anxiety over REG score release, I have to prepare for what I am hoping is my final battle with Audit and the CPA Exam as a whole.
REG was even tougher than I imagined, and I think 50/50 at passing is a bit optimistic. I am hoping maybe my thought process has taken a detour to crazy town while thinking about the exam, and that the questions weren’t as bad as I remember.
Getting back to Audit after a 6-month hiatus is better than I had hoped it would be. I have had plenty of time to forget everything, and thus attack the book with a blank slate.
I think this will ultimately be better for me because it will force me to re-learn everything instead of glossing over the key concepts and thinking that I don’t need to review because I read the book last time.
Getting ready for Take 3 of the same exam is not a great feeling, but it helps to think that in a few short weeks, this whole process could be over and it gets me back to the books to make sure that is the case.
I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, now I just need to work my butt off to cross the threshold. One more NINJA MCQ, one more flashcard, one more note written could be the difference between burning my books, or sweating out balancing studying and my pending nuptials.
Time to remove any doubt from the equation and obliterate these tests once and for all.
Hi-YA!
Good luck man you got this!
