Getting the news that someone in my office passed the exam is not always a happy day for me.

Yes, I am happy for them, but at the same time I just want to throw something at them. Especially for the ones who passed on the first try.

Okay, I know it is a touch of jealousy, but I am at least being honest. Passing the exam is a great achievement and I know they worked hard to pass. I just want to know when will it be my turn to celebrate.

In a few weeks, I will be sitting for FAR. I am hitting the NINJA MCQs and flashcards as hard as I can. I am not hitting the panic mode yet, but ask me again in a week or two and this will change.

In order to pass the CPA exam, I have to remember that it takes just 4 steps. One step for each exam. And in order to get to the end of the road, I have to take the hardest step – the first one. In the end, it will be me the office is celebrating with.
