I am two weeks into studying for Audit with about three weeks left until my Aug 17th test date. My studying seems to be progressing well.

I feel that I am absorbing more of the material compared to studying for FAR, which gives me the confidence and the energy to study. I think its interesting that Audit seems way more intuitive for me than FAR as I have worked in Operations Accounting just about my whole accounting career.

These are exciting times as my practice exams scores are way up compared to my FAR practice scores. I am hoping that this translates into passing scores on exam day.

I have used every opportunity of free time I’ve had to read my NINJA Notes and Flashcards. It’s so re-assuring to have materials everywhere I go because my phone is never far from me.

I am modifying the NINJA method a little as I am reading the notes in conjunction with the videos. I think this may be why studying seems to be going better as I am getting a double dose of Audit fun!

I hope you all are getting to soak up the sun in these waning days of summer, I know that I am. I have a few fun things to look forward to other than studying.

The biggest will be my family’s second annual end of summer trip to a local water park. My children, ages 4 and 6, will have completed their summer swim lessons, so they can show Daddy and Mommy what they’ve learned. It should be a blast!
