Marc is a weekly NINJA CPA Blogger.
I took FAR last week. I was one of those that used the extension because of the hurricane.
I felt like I was mostly prepared but because of poor planning, my test was during month end at my job. I hope the extra $70 to reschedule was worth it.
I felt like the exam went pretty well. I only had to mark a few in the first testlet and the next two got noticeably harder, but manageable. I think I did much better on the sims this time around and hope that will propel me to a passing grade.
I am currently doing what I assume most do after the test, kicking myself about the questions I know that I got wrong.
I intended to take the weekend off and just watch football, but I couldnt help myself and I started studying REG for about an hour.
I am anxious to start the NINJA Audio for REG because I think the Audio for FAR helped a lot. After the 6th time through, it really solidifies important information.
I also have to make a decision coming up; I have to schedule REG sometime before Nov. 22nd. Since I felt so comfortable with AUD in July, but failed, I thought I could do a quick 3 week study in November for it.
I would then have about 7 weeks for REG and then 3 weeks for AUD. I keep going back and forth on whether it is worth it for me to try to get both tests in. I guess I dont know if I will be kicking myself for not allowing that additional 3 weeks of studying for REG.
Decisions, Decisions.
