My name is Kasper and I am a recent college graduate from the University of California Santa Cruz. My studies there have been in business, technology, and accounting.

I took a few months break after graduating in June of 2012 and moved back down to my hometown in Orange County. Looking for a job was exhausting, as I spent weeks trying to land a decent paying job.

Going through this tough time, I realized that I needed to study more in order to differentiate myself from the rest. This is when I decided to start my studies for the CPA.

I figured that if I dedicated several months to this test, the rest of my life will be taken care of, afterwards.

I talked to my older cousin who got her CPA license right out of college. She suggested that I try to finish the testing and all other requirements before the change in 2014.

She also told me that some of her friends from work (Big 4) were also trying to get their CPA licensure before 2014. So I decided, immediately after our talk, to enroll in a review course in order to refresh my knowledge in accounting & business subjects.

My cousin recommended a review course (whether online or on-location) stacked with their final review materials. As I wanted to look for extra study materials, I stumbled upon the NINJA website from visiting various online forums.

Let me tell you, I am SO GLAD I found this resource. I looked through the free notes/audio and was satisfied with the quality of the lecture materials. Also, the NINJA Flashcards are pretty much awesome as I can take the entire deck with me on my iPhone.

I am one happy camper now and I am looking forward to sharing my experience with you all. I will keep you guys posted throughout the year, thanks. ?
