Hello fellow NINJAS!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I had high hopes that I would be celebrating not only Thanksgiving but an early birthday present in passing FAR. It was not to be.
My score was a 69>:O. Really? Six measly points away from being finished with this whole process.
I was at work last Wednesday when I found out. It was around 1:30 and needless to say any further productivity for that day just went out the door so I decided to start the holiday weekend early.
It was really pretty when I got home so I poured myself a big glass of wine (in a Mason jar), went and sat out on the deck and had a good ole fashion Southern pity party.
I decided to mourn for that night and get back to business after Thanksgiving dinner. I was able to register on Thursday, received my NTS on Friday and was able to schedule my exam for January 28th.
I really didn't want to wait that long but there were no weekends at my Prometric Center in January. Also January is an extremely busy time at my work, thus the reason for the late testing date. My AUD score expires on January 31st.
Looking back on the exam, I know where I made some mistakes. And it is those mistakes I feel were probably worth those six points I needed.
I did manage to log some significant study time over the holiday weekend. I started from scratch as if I have never seen the material before. I now need 75 points and not six.
I am watching my course videos and doing the MC all over again. I don't really feel like I am memorizing the questions.
As before I listen to the NINJA Audio at work constantly. I plan on rewriting notes again and again.
Those few weeks of waking up at 6:30 a.m. were nice but that is over now. Back to the 5:00 a.m. mornings:. If anyone has added suggestions as to how I can alter, change, mix up my studying, please let me know.
Congratulations to all those who received their final passing scores! Momto5–What is YOUR SECRET??
Good luck to those waiting on scores. To Kricket: Geez, what a crazy experience! However, crazy that day was, I think that was your last exam ever.
Until later,
Karen
