My name is Kamiash.

I am a mother of 3, full-time staff accountant, wife, housekeeper, top chef, cupcake warrior, and aspiring CPA.

The road has not been an easy one. The exam is an obstacle that shows no mercy to the hard-working, want to do it all types such as ourselves. But I am not going to let it get the best of me. I will pass….eventually!

I started the road to the CPA in 2009. I've taken FAR twice (57,59). I didn't devote as much time as I should have, thought I could balance it all but in the end was just too overwhelmed.

In 2011 I tried BEC and thought I had it in the bag but was again disappointed with a 61.

My Plan for 2012…..Find more time to study. On the car ride to work (with NINJA Audio)….during lunch….car ride home…when the kids are in bed….No more sleeping in on the weekends….anything to pass the exam.

I can't give up. And reading Jeff's story just showed me that it can be done. I want to be able to show that it can be done if you work hard.

Success is 10% inspiration, and 90% perspiration. It's time to turn the heat up!
