How are fellow NINJAs coming along with their studies? Mine, not so good. Ive hit a bit of a rough patch.
Last week, after I sat for BEC, I was on a roll. I started to study for FAR the next day. Could that have been a bad thing? Im not sure.
Well, toward weeks end I started to feel under the weather. Then the weekend came. Of course, I put in a few hours at the office on Saturday, then off to my mother-in-laws house we went for Easter festivities.
That evening my back started to bother me. I went stiff and sore. Easter Sunday came and I was in so much pain I could barely walk or even pick up my 2-year-old daughter.
Ive never felt this before. Not sure if its from sitting all day from working, studying, and driving or what. The pain disappeared as fast as it came. Its a mystery.
I really dont want to feel that again, so Im changing things up a little.
- Ive changed my study chair. I was using my kitchen table chair but now Im going to use my dining room chair since it has a cushion.
- Im going to incorporate some walking. My back felt better when I walked around.
- Im going to try to stay away from any distractions, like Facebook. Im thinking Im sitting long enough to work, study, drive, etc. I dont need to be sitting playing games to add more to my back issue.
Since all this started Ive been having an issue getting back into the groove of studying. I have been listening to the FAR NINJA Audio to and from work and did finish chapter 1 of lectures.
But FAR is so big that I know I need to kick it up a notch. May 29th is less than 6 weeks away and I still have a lot to go through. Im just glad I decided to put FAR off until the end of May.
Tax season is coming to a close, so Ill be working hard and have more time for my lectures, reviewing NINJA Notes, and working insane amounts of Wiley MCQs.
2012 has to be my year to complete my 10-year venture! Till next week!!
