I’ll cut to the chase: I passed BEC! Hooray!

It was nice to have taken the exam relatively late in the testing window, so I only had to wait about 10 days for my results.

I have to say, I felt the same way after both FAR and BEC. I felt like it could have gone either way. There were some things I felt good about, and others that I felt like I had no clue about!

But at least I didn’t have that sinking feeling, the one you get when you read a question, and you can remember where the answer is in your notes…but you just can’t remember the answer.

I have to put in a plug for NINJA Audio, too. This was a last-minute purchase for me, and it was totally worth it.

I listened to it everywhere for the last 10 days before the exam, and I definitely think it made a big difference in my level of comfort with the material.

So now it’s on to REG. I’m taking a few weeks off and will start studying again mid-month. But I’m going to see how things go, because I’m taking two classes this spring (and then I’ll be DONE with school too!!) and I just don’t think I can handle two classes, a full-time job, my family, AND the CPA exam.

My hope is that if I can get through the material and feel confident enough to take it before things with school get too crazy, then at least I’ll have REG done and only AUD will remain.

But if I’m not feeling good about it in late January or early February, I will probably have to wait until classes are over.
