Hello everyone! My name is Haley and I am a brand spankin new blogger here at Another71.
You may know me on the forum as FinnishWeirdo. As you may guess, Im a little quirky but I love every second of it!
My journey with the CPA exam has been a trip for me. Its really funny, because growing up I NEVER thought Id want to become a CPA. If it didnt have to do with art or writing (or shopping), I wouldnt be a part of it.
I barely spoke arithmetic, much less converse in the complex, counter-intuitive hodgepodge of rules and principles that is accounting. But here I am, working my way through this perilous journey and ready to rock my 4th section!
To give a little background on my CPA journey thus far, I took FAR in August, AUD in November, and REG in February. And Im 100% not trying to gloat here, but I passed all 3 parts on my first try using a video course and help from NINJA.
Moreover, I did this all while going to school, volunteering, dealing with a whirlwind family situation, and being the president of my business fraternity. Again, this is not me bragging this is me telling you that no matter whats going on, it can be done!
Its about having the right attitude, including one of short term pain for long term gain. Say that to yourself every day, because its the single most descriptive phrase for this time of your life.
I am overjoyed to be sharing my experiences with you guys in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned and keep rockin it!
