Well tax season is over, and I made it out in one piece. This was one of the longest tax seasons in recent memory.
I feel like a normal person again. I am now working normal hours. I get home at a reasonable time, and am able to see my wife for more than 15 minutes each day. Thats the good news.
The bad news is that I am studying again. My 4th AUD re-take is in about a month. But I do have some new review videos.
The instructor is much more animated, and I think that will help me to remember the information. I have 5 hours or so of videos left, and then it is review time.
Im also once again listening to Jeff on the NINJA Audio every day to and from work. I know youre jealous.
I have to pass AUD this time. If I dont, I will have to take it again in July when the new Clarified Standards start to be tested. I am hopeful that the 5th time will be the charm for me & AUD.
One thing I need to do this time around is use the Authoritative Literature on the simulations. Many people on the Another71 forum suggest this. It sounds like it is very helpful.
I have come so close to passing every time (except my first try, which was a train wreck). So if I get the AL down, I will definitely pass this time. Needless to say, I will practice a lot of SIMs this time around, until I am an expert with them and the authoritative literature.
Im also hoping that I can ride my good mojo from passing BEC. I once again feel like the CPA is attainable. I was starting to doubt it after not passing AUD for so long. I am now that much closer to the finish line. I just need to keep on pushing, and I can do this.
I really dont have much else going on at the moment. Once I am done with the CPA exam, I really need to get a life. ?
Good luck to everyone that has tests coming up or is waiting for scores. Keep a positive attitude and work hard and nothing can stop you.
