Hello fellow Ninjas,
Here are few weekend study suggestions from what works for me that I would like share with you on your CPA prep.
Go to your own class on the weekend. Not at home (to keep you away from distractions). Find a library and invest in yourself.
On Friday, do questions. Review your notes, review the examples from your review book.
Get in the habit of starting the questions that are required and really read the English so that you don't make careless mistakes. Dont forget to focus on the date, on the formula, on the verb, and control the time. Your study schedule should consist of drilling and reviewing the questions using these techniques.
It is full speed ahead by devoting all the time available to your success and your future. You can always set the alarm 30 minutes earlier in the morning and put in a little extra study. Utilize the idle time.
For example when you drive, when you take a shower, when you peel the carrots or fold laundry think of “that problem” that gave you trouble, recall information you would say if you were writing a communication and turn idle time into ideal time.
On Saturday, take progress tests. Mix and match the chapters.
On Sunday, practice on the simulations and the exam to practice on the navigation, practice on using the calculator and practice on the time.
Share what works for you!
