Two kids, a husband still in school and a full time job, make studying for the CPA exam … interesting. Yeah, let’s go with that – interesting.

I’ve recently decided to start taking the CPA Exam.

I finished my Masters’ degree in December and had waited until I was done to be able to focus on the exam. Then, I kept putting it off. Finally, I decided to set up the exam appointment and I’d be forced to take it. So it’s set. May 3rd is the day I sit for FAR.

Now all I can think is WHAT DID I DO?!?!?!

I’m having a hard time concentrating, but I know I need to do this, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be a CPA (is that weird that even as a kid I wanted to be a CPA?) so I’m determined to get through it. I just need to get through it.

Even with a one year old little boy and a soon-to-be six year old daughter constantly trying to get my attention, I MUST get through this. That’s what I keep telling myself.

My name is Christie, and one day I will be a CPA. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later!
