Hello fellow Ninjas. Its been a while since my last post. Work has been a little crazy.
A few months ago I started working in internal audit for one of the Big 4s and am currently working on two engagements.
I feel as though I am constantly getting pulled from one to the other since somehow both teams are supposed to figure out how to share me each week.
It has been exhausting, however, I am learning a lot. I am definitely trying not to let my workload get in the way of my studying.
Well, I took Audit finally after pushing it multiple times. I had been working questions over and over and over, reviewing the NINJA notes and listening to the NINJA Audio. Hopefully all the work I put in during the time I was studying will be enough to get me that 75.
I am currently studying for BEC and this will be my third time taking it. Hopefully this is the last time I have to take BEC.
My study strategy this time around is to review the lectures with the calculations and the theory based modules I will be reading through and taking notes. That should cut down on the amount I spend reviewing the material the first time around.
I will then be focusing on the questions and rewriting the NINJA notes. I have the exam scheduled on January 5, 2013. I must say those NINJA notes and audios are a godsend (not biased at all).
When I was reviewing audit I could not grasp the audit reports and listening to Jeff really helped. I felt like Pavlovs dog each time Jeffs voice came on, my brain kicked into study mode.
Happy studying to everyone and good luck to those waiting on scores.
