HiYa!

Well another week has come and gone.

I hope that when you look at this past week that it is full of study hours and lots of learning. I look at this past week and wonder where my week went, with less than a satisfactory amount of study.

For those of you who have kids you know that sometimes things just come up. I personally felt like a lot of things came up, excuses were made, and studying just did not happen. Then Sunday night the flu/stomach bug hit me like you wouldn’t believe.

Now, why am I telling you all of this? Opposition. We all have challenges with these exams and it is how we approach these exams, and our studying, that will lead to those coveted three letters C-P-A.

I was rummaging through some old stuff of mine last week and I found a pin that I received when I worked at a grocery store years ago. The pin is rectangular in shape. It has a green background with the following letters in gold “YASNY” I received it because my manager saw all of the hard work and dedication I put into my work. He told me that it stands for You Aint Seen Nothing Yet.

I love this pin because it indicates the success up to this point in my life and hints that there is so much more to come. When will you have you YASNY moment? When will you wake up and realize that although you have had some failures in the past that you have had successes. You will have many more.

Now it is time to realize your potential, dust yourself off, and move forward to your next test.
