Austin is a NINJA CPA Blogger.

I haven’t written a post in almost 2 months. This is because I didn’t pass FAR. I’ll spare you all the gory details, but I will share that this one really hurt.

I put a LOT into it this time, far more than my previous attempts. And I’m still short.

I took the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays to recover and get a game plan in place for 2013.

That’s the bad news. Now for some GOOD news.

I took stock of the weaknesses in my study plan and have renewed my commitment to the exam and my career.

I’ve decided to put a couple of my very fun and very rewarding extra-curricular activities ON HOLD until I slay this dragon.

I’m telling all of you guys here on the blog, and I’m telling my wife. But aside from that I’m only telling a select few people that I’m studying. I’ll let the rest think I died, or dropped off the face of the Earth.

I’m going full on NINJA. It’s “beast mode” time. I’m cutting the Social Media, I’m cutting my favorite TV shows, and I’m cutting out the excuses.

The only thing more important than the CPA exam in 2013 is death and fire.
