Hello NINJAs!

This is my first time writing to you and I am really excited about this! I have been following another71.com for a while now and its been quite a roller coaster of events for me…I am sure some of you may relate!

I started studying for the CPA exam first time in February of 2012 and took my first exam, FAR, in April and failed, but recovered after passing BEC in May of last year.

Fast forward almost 2 years later and I've passed FAR (after the fourth attempt)…got 73's twice in a row!! That burned…followed by a 74 in REG, which was brutal! But I passed it on the second round with the help of NINJA Audio!

Unfortunately, I failed AUD the fifth time so now I've lost the BEC credit. Starting this year, I have been using the NINJA Notes & Audio, Wiley Test Bank and the previous review material to study.

My plan of attack is to focus on my weak areas, do as many MCQs as possible, re-write my notes and listen to NINJA Audio on my commute to work. I am retaking BEC beginning of January and AUD at the end of January.

While I was studying this year, things did not work out well at my job and I got laid off in at the end of March. Seven months later I started a new job and I am really happy with it, as I am working on some audits and reviews so I am hoping that would make the difference for me to pass the AUD exam.

I landed an accountant job with a small CPA firm where I have the opportunity to prepare financial statements, audits and tax returns when the busy season starts.

I want to thank everyone for sharing their stories. It has been so inspiring to me! I've thought so many times about giving up and quitting but I realized I am not that kind of person. If I started something I shall finish it! With God ALL things are possible!
