Dear NINJAs,
I am currently studying Far using Wiley CPA and Ninja Book, Notes and MCQs. But the material is overwhelming in Wiley.
I study 8 hours a day it’s taking me a long time to get through the lessons … It took me 3 weeks to get through 50 lessons in Wiley … Is there a different way of getting through this material quicker?
Taking the exam supposedly in December of this year.

Dear Ramona,
It's quite possible that you're getting too “in the weeds” while you study … taking notes over every little nuance … pausing the video after every few sentences because you're scared of missing a key detail.
FAR is a mile wide and an inch deep.
(Jeff says that someone smarter than him said that once but he can't remember who).
Get through your videos, skim/read the NINJA Book, and at some point say “I'm DONE” and move onto the MCQ and continue to take killer notes.
Not obsessing over details goes against the typical accountant's nature, we NINJAs have noticed.
On the CPA Exam, however – it can spell certain failure.
If you find yourself getting bogged down – both in studying – and on the exam – you MUST move on, or you will simply run out of time.
Your fear of not passing due to missing something will become a self-fulfilling prophesy.
