Tana is a weekly Another71 Facebook blogger as she documents her journey through the CPA Exam.
I finished all my classes and grades are in. I ended up with a B, C, and C+. My worst semester EVER.
As you may recall, I have been having a hard time getting motivated to study with everything that has been going on. Well, I have gotten rid of all of the distractions.
School Completed
Husband Deployed
Christmas shopping completed
Job Internship starts week after I sit for CPA
Study plan Wait. I dont have that yet
So now I need to get serious about studying and PASSING AUD. I have 18 days to study. This includes Christmas day, New Years, and weekends with no babysitter. OK, so taking that into account I really only have 10 days to study. I guess this is cram time.
Using Roger CPA Reviews 3 month study guide and just looking at the section for AUD, it includes 16 days of studying, but it looks like only about 4 hours a day. I plan to put in 8 hours a day or more, so maybe I will be able to finish this and Pass.
I hope I am not setting myself up to fail. The difficulty will be making sure I dont miss something in a desire to get this done quickly. So I have adapted the calendar they have and hope to get all the studying done.
The nice thing is that Roger is so captivating that it doesnt even seem like I am studying, and the mnemonics he suggests are so unique that I think I will remember them forever. I dont know if I could do this if I didnt have someone energetic like him walking me through this.
I am a visual learner and I believe that I will pass because of my learning style and the style of study materials I am using. I guess I will be asking Santa for a Passing CPA grade this year.
Good luck with Audit!!!! I totally agree that Rog is captivating! For me, I need that with Audit. Merry Christmas.
