Well, now that all the scores are out, congratulations to those who passed and those who didnt – DONT GIVE UP!!
Im in the middle group. Out of the three exams I took last testing window I passed one, Regulation. I finally have my credit back and this time Im going to do everything and anything in my power not to let it go!!
So now since my 18-month clock has begun, I need to put my already started retesting plan in full force action.
First attack: Audit Audit hasnt been to kind to me the past few years, but my plan is to reuse my Becker materials, along with Yeager lectures. Like I mentioned in my last blog, I bought new notebooks and index cards, which Ive already started to make notes from the lecture videos.
Second attack: FAR For FAR, I planning on reusing Roger CPA Review and Yeager lectures. I believe the reason why I didnt pass FAR this past testing window is because I ran out of time. With a score of a 68, I dont think I did to bad considering. So once I sit for Audit, Im planning on picking up Rogers books, listen to Yeager audio lectures and starting from the beginning again.
Third and hopefully my final attack: BEC Now with not seeing BEC in 18 months and with all the changes in 2011, Im planning on using Roger CPA Review.
Of course Ill also be using Jeffs amazing NINJA notes for all three sections.
I've been sitting for these exams since the paper and pencil days, but not hardcore since 2008. Im now putting my plan of attack into full force and would like to be done with these exams before the next tax season.
You may think Im crazy, but look what Ive attempted to do last testing window. This superwoman is on a mission!! A mission not impossible!!
I admire you so much, JoMarie. You are such a great resource of inspiration. Last window was hard on you. I can't imagine someone taking 3 sections in one window. Much less with tiny children. You passed what is the hardest section for most people. I know when you are not rushed, you will relax a little more and let the knowledge flow. You already have a solid foundation so just fine tune what you have learned. Keep blogging. You are Superwoman!! :)
Allyson's absolutely right, I can't even imagine 3 exams in two months, but I'm glad you are looking at this positively.
